I was back up in Wisconsin again in December to second-shoot a Christmastime wedding with Mary Meyer Photography. This wedding had it all: a gorgeous bride, an amazing venue, graceful decor, giant sparklers (!), fun guests, a photobooth, cute kids on the dance floor...but the most special part of the day was seeing the unbreakable bond the bride has with her parents. Her dad was there to steal a first look, to toast the newlyweds, to twirl his youngest daughter around for the father/daughter dance. And her mom was so obviously - so very, very obviously - smiling down on the whole day from heaven. She was an angel perched atop the Christmas tree, she was a blue heart sewn inside the dress lining, she was there in the bride's ever-present smile. She even sent a little snowfall for the occasion. : )
Special thanks to Mary, and a very special congratulations to Chelli & Kurt. Below are a handful of my favorite shots. For lots more fabulous images, head over for a peek at Mary's blog.
